Hi there! This weekend has been filled with all sorts of stuff and I haven't had too much time to focus on the game, also I'm kind of avoiding having to do the running animation because it's getting kind of harder now :P Because of that, I tend to pull out my new iPad and practise drawing sprites, scenes, etc! Hi there! Today is sunday.. and it's raining.. :C BUT, that gives me plenty of time to work on Cyan! :D So, because of this lovely weather, I've been learning about animations on low-res characters aswell as how to use transparency when making sprites! I managed to create my very first animation, using my new found knowledge, and you'll find it --> here! <--- Other than that, I've been working on coding the torch into the game, don't ask me why I'm doing that instead of trying to get the animations done.. :P I just want some variation, ok!? Hi there! So I've been watching a lot of tutorials on Game Maker today, learning about vertical and horizontal speed, aswell as gravity and animations! I'm feeling really pumped and can't wait to get working on my very first game! I've decided to base it around the character I draw yesterday and named him "Cyan".. Which will most likely be the name of the game aswell! It'll be set in a snowy landscape where you'll face different challenges as you play through the game, I'm not sure how it'll play yet, but I'll get back to you on that..
